The right mindset As previously mentioned, Verdicon is currently working on a 172-unit apartment building in Kitchener, where they are utilizing a variety of modern construction methodologies, including pre-cast structural and facade panels. Additionally, Verdicon is in the pre-construction phase of another project in Peterborough, which they hope to break ground on within the next eight months. For now, they are assisting with the design of the building. The same goes for an upcoming project in Scarborough, which will comprise almost 220-units – they expect to break ground there within the next 12 months, and until then they are going to help their clients to design the most efficient build possible. Looking ahead, Nauman says that Verdicon also hopes to branch out beyond multi-residential and mixed-use projects into the commercial DECEMBER 2025
