in early 2018 and quickly became integral to daily operations, and several Edmonton managers who predate the brothers’ ownership. This continuity demonstrates the type of environment Brad and Robert cultivate – one where people feel valued, challenged, and part of a long-term mission. Supplier and vendor relationships follow the same principle of trust and reliability. All Star prioritizes buying local and partnering with suppliers who share their values, ensuring consistency in quality and service across projects. Many of these relationships have lasted since the company first established itself in Calgary and Edmonton, reflecting the importance of aligned values, mutual trust, and long-term collaboration. Looking ahead, Brad and Robert are focused on strengthening All Star’s foundation by engaging with larger, internationally active builders. While they aren’t pursuing global expansion immediately, the experience of working with large, complex projects is helping the company refine internal processes, enhance operational discipline, and learn from the standards of toptier construction organizations. Brad notes that these challenges, though involving “a lot of bureaucracy, a lot of red tape,” are opportunities to grow the company and improve performance at every level. Ultimately, the brothers have never wanted to cap All Star’s potential. “The sky’s the limit,” Brad says. “You can’t just have a dream and it happens – there’s a lot of work to do. But we’ve never wanted to put a cap on what we can achieve. Pursuing the bigger clients makes us better, and we can do that while still maintaining our core ethos: putting the customer first and making sure we get it right no matter what.” That philosophy has guided the company from day one and continues to drive growth, ensuring All Star Landscaping remains grounded in responsiveness, quality, technology, and longterm relationships, while pushing forward with purpose and pride.
