Brad and Robert Hemsing – brothers and long-time veterans of the oil and gas sector – recognized the massive potential for growth, and purchased the business in 2017 with a vision of transforming it into a modern, scalable, multi-city operator. For Brad, that decision was rooted in family. He wanted to be home to see his young children grow up, and landscaping offered an opportunity to build something sustainable, grounded, and close to home. The company they purchased was already performing well – so well, in fact, that the previous owner was “run off his feet,” managing everything manually and operating at the limits of what one person could handle. For Brad and Robert, the opportunity was clear. They brought modern technology, paperless processes, and tracking software to streamline operations and unlock future scalability, allowing them to take on larger projects without sacrificing quality. With Robert based near Edmonton and Brad in Calgary, the brothers used the strength of the existing Edmonton operation to launch a Calgary branch, mirroring the same business model and commitment to service.
