from the north end to the south, to the east, to the west.” Additionally, almost every space within the Keystone Centre is “entirely versatile,” according to Jared McKenzie, the centre’s director of marketing. He says that versatility makes the centre appealing year-round. “We’ll have a room that we can use for a high-end gala dinner one day, and then the next day we’ll convert it into stalling space for an equestrian event,” Jared says. “All of our space is basically a la carte. We can do anything in any one of our spaces.” Looking ahead, the Keystone Centre intends to maintain that versatility and flexibility, and to continuing to pursuing upgrades and rehabilitations that will ensure the centre’s longevity. The whole team there is extremely proud of the centre’s 50-year history, and of the positive impact they have made on the City of Brandon and the region of Westman in that time. They are looking forward to the next 50 years and to making an even bigger impact. AUGUST 2025
