For example, earlier this month, the centre hosted the Global Champions Arabians Tour (GCAT). GCAT is one of the largest, most prestigious Arabian Horse Championship shows in the world, and this year was the first time they held events in North America. Brandon, the tour’s lone stop in Canada, joined an elite list of host cities including Miami, Scottsdale, and Las Vegas in the USA, and São Paulo in Brazil. When the Keystone Centre’s ongoing upgrades are completed later this year, Connie is confident the venue will be able to attract even more prestigious events all throughout the year. In particular, they will be able to be more active during the summer months as a result of the dehumidification and air conditioning upgrades. “Once this is done, we’ll have a really creative, comfortable environment for summer events,” Connie says. “That’s going to present some really exciting opportunities.” The Keystone Centre is already an extremely appealing destination for winter events, Connie adds, largely because of the amount of space they have – 540,000 square feet – that’s all under one roof. “Once you are inside our doors, you do not have to leave to get from point A to point B,” she explains. “You can actually walk right through our building
