furniture in a home – so timing is everything.” Additionally, HESCO also forms strong relationships with their subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and consultants. Bryan says those partnerships also contribute vitally to their ability to keep projects on track. “Sometimes you need a favor or help when things go sideways. Keeping those doors open is crucial.” HESCO’s emphasis on communication and accountability extends to their clients as well. Bryan stresses the importance of transparency, particularly when challenges arise. “If I say I’m going to get a quote by Thursday, you better believe that’s what’s going to happen. And if there’s a problem, we tell the client early, and we explain what we’re doing to fix it. I believe that goes a long way.” Moving forward, HESCO’s vision is to maintain that culture of transparency and accountability, even as the company grows – and they are growing, Bryan says, though their focus is on managed growth rather than rapid scaling. “Larry and Adam have always ensured growth happens in measured steps,” Bryan explains. To that end, HESCO is currently exploring new product opportunities, including consumables like take-out containers, napkins, and to-go boxes, expanding their offerings beyond equipment and design. Additionally, they are evaluating possible acquisitions in related market segments that could add value for their clients. The upcoming Toronto office marks a major milestone in HESCO’s national ambitions. Many of the company’s customers already operate in Eastern Canada and want consistent partners. Having a Toronto presence will help HESCO meet that demand more effectively and position their brand alongside major national competitors. Bryan believes now is the time to make that move, because “some competitors have recently closed locations, so there’s a good opportunity to grow market share and attract experienced staff.” In a competitive market, HESCO’s commitment to transparency, quality, and client-first service has been the foundation for the company’s sustained growth and expanding national footprint. With a century of history behind the brand and ambitious plans ahead, HESCO is well positioned to lead Canada’s commercial kitchen industry well into the future. AUGUST 2025
