A bright future Moving forward, Level Consulting Engineers expects to continue growing at a steady pace, both by adding to their team and taking on bigger and better projects. On the team side, they currently employ a staff of about 13 people, but they are actively recruiting and expect that number to get as high as 20 by the end of the year. On the project side, they are doing four high-rises, as previously mentioned, and they are proud of the impact those projects will have on the city. “We’re contributing to the skyline of Calgary,” Jamaica says. “That’s very rewarding, and we hope to get the chance to keep doing that.” At the same time, however – and as also previously mentioned – the company also wants to keep taking on smaller projects, particularly building condition assessments. Recently, they actually launched a field services department led by a field services manager to head that effort – and that department has already generated a lot of repeat work. “From big to small, we approach each project with clarity and precision,” Jamaica concludes. “No matter the project size, clients trust us to deliver optimal solutions tailored to their objectives. I think that’s why we’re going to continue to grow. I think that’s why the future looks bright for us.” AUGUST 2025
