Twenty-five years ago, with a vision for independence and determination to succeed, Tracey Didluck and his wife Torie founded what is now the TD2 Group. According to Tracey, the company began as a “humble construction services operation,” but quickly evolved into becoming a trusted advisor for major institutions navigating Western Canada’s unique construction landscape. Tracey largely credits that evolution to the company’s commitment to staying up to date technologically. He believes the AEC industry in Canada is lagging behind the rest of the world when it comes to tools like building informational modelling (BIM), virtual design and construction (VDC), and digital project delivery (DPD) – and he’s made it his mission to help Canada catch up. Tracey also believes in the importance of collaboration – which he also credits with powering the company’s evolution. After starting the business, he says he and Torie quickly learned that the most successful projects were not defined by contracts alone, but by relationships – relationships “built on transparency, shared goals, and mutual respect.” AUGUST 2025
