As with their previous projects, Kunal emphasizes that all those facilities were designed to feel like homes and not hospitals. “They’re fairly large facilities, but we ensure they are still not institutional,” he says. “That eightstorey concrete may be the size of a hospital, but through our thorough design collaboration we’ve made sure it doesn’t feel that way.” Moving forward, Hestia’s goal is to continue delivering projects of quality workmanship and efficiency, on both the seniors living side and the apartment rental side of their business. Coming in the future, however, the company will be building senior housing projects not just for themselves, but also for external operators. According to Kunal, those prospective clients have recognized Hestia’s leadership and expertise in the seniors housing sector and have started approaching them with opportunities. “We’ve been in the seniors care industry for 15plus years, we’ve become an industry leader, and people have taken notice,” he says. “People are looking at Hestia to become their development partner for their seniors housing projects.” “Because we are the experts,” he adds. “I don’t think anyone can do it better than us when it comes to seniors housing.
