and thoughtfulness, according to Lisa and Alex, is what sets them apart and attracts clients back. “We’re very responsive to our clients,” says Alex. “If they have any issues that arise, they feel free to talk to us and we take care of any of their concerns.” Today, AC Projects focuses solely on high-end projects, ranging from houses in Westmount to offices on the West Island to condos in old Montreal. Currently, they’re working on a significant extension to a house in Saint-Sauveur, where they are adding extensions to both sides of the house. While Saint-Sauveur is a little further than their typical geographic area, Lisa and Alex agreed to take on this project because it was a former client who insisted AC Projects worked on their new house. “The owner really wanted to buy a house but his wife wouldn’t do it unless I agreed to work with them,” says Lisa. According to Alex and Lisa, AC Projects has earned that kind of loyalty partly due to their knack for getting in clients’ heads. They say that taking the time to conceptualize their customers’ vision for their home – and their talent for helping their customers to develop that vision – is one of the company’s key points of difference. “We’re both detail oriented. We look at the finer points and we ask what the client wants and give them what they want,” says Alex. In many cases, Lisa adds, customers don’t exactly know what they want or don’t have a clear vision for the end product. THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE CANADA
