The Construction Source

Those are all examples of new construction projects, but Lumon Canada has also done some retrofits. Henry says the feedback from all those clients has been very positive so far. He even says they were recently told by Aalto Developments that “we were the best trade on site.” Henry credits reviews like that to Lumon Canada’s reliability; to the way they stand by their word and meet the timelines that they promise at the outset. He has reason to believe those qualities are not as common among trades as they should be: “When we say we’re going to have a product on site at a certain time, we get that product on site at that certain time,” he says. “We keep our promises. Unfortunately, I think there are a lot of trades that don’t do that. We’re usually one of the last trades on site, and when we get there, we often end up pushing a lot of the other trades to complete their scope.” “I think clients respect us because we follow through,” he adds. “We do what we say we’re going to do. That doesn’t mean there will never be wrinkles along the way, but it’s about how we respond to the wrinkles and deal with them. When challenges arise – not necessarily due to our product, but maybe due to changes that were made to the site or the project or the scope of work – we show up to the table as a partner to help overcome those challenges.” “That’s what it means to be an industry partner,” he sums up. “And that’s what we want to be – we want to be an industry partner to our clients. “ MARCH 2024
