An industry partner To date, Lumon Canada has been more active in British Columbia than Ontario, as that’s where the company’s original Canadian client – the one who inspired the creation of Lumon Canada – is based. For that client alone, Henry estimates they have done six or seven projects totalling about 2,500 units. Overall, they have completed approximately 38 buildings in the province. In Ontario, meanwhile, the company is picking up steam. They have already done seven or eight projects with Mattamy Homes and about four buildings in eastern Ontario with CH Clements, as well as one building in Barrie with Aalto Developments. The project in Barrie is called Lākhouse, and is a 10-storey resort-inspired condominium idyllically located on the shores of Lake Simcoe. It was built by Gillam Construction, and at the Simcoe County Home Builders’ Association 2022 Awards it won Project of the Year. MARCH 2024
