We begin with the end in mind, to create real estate that works,” says Mike Grywacheski, Vice President, Construction. Mike is an industry veteran, having been involved in the construction industry ever since graduating high school. He first started working with Anthem about 10 years ago as a part of a partnership on a project in Burnaby called Station Square. When that project wrapped up about two years ago, he made the transition to working with Anthem full-time. He made that move, he says, “because I liked the people, the culture, and the projects they were working on.” “It’s a great place to work and a great group of people to work with,” he says. “People here really care. We all work hard and we take our jobs seriously – but we also enjoy doing what we’re doing. We’re passionate about building great homes for our purchasers.” Over the past couple of years, Mike has overseen a variety of different projects for Anthem, including several residential and mixed-use towers and a couple master-planned communities. One of the new and exciting projects Mike is overseeing is a project in South Coquitlam called SOCO. NOVEMBER 2023
