Charging forward While the projects under construction are very exciting, Mike reiterates that the best has yet to come for Keltic Canada Development. Moving forward, he says company has a number of significant projects in the pipeline, including some of their largest-scale projects to date. An example is 1560 Rand in South Vancouver. There, on a site “situated perfectly for businesses and employees located in Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby,” Keltic will be developing over 600,000 square feet of stacked light industrial and office space across two buildings. They are currently working with TKA+D Architects on the design and they are doing preconstruction with Graham Construction. Also coming soon is a project at the corner of Kingsway Avenue and Willingdon Street in the Metrotown area of Burnaby. Keltic purchased the site late last year, and their plan there is to create a one-million-squarefoot residential and commercial development, including two towers, with one currently as high as 59 storeys.
