Healthy working relationships As a recent example of what S.J.Lawrence Architect Incorporated is capable of, both Shawn and Brandon cite a project they recently completed with Southbridge Care Homes in Kemptville. There, they designed a brand new threestorey long-term-care facility, featuring 160 beds along with a number of programs and amenities, including: a hair salon; a large communal space for events and gatherings; a fitness room; a wellness lounge; a worship/theatre space; and a studio space for creative activities, which is equipped with an interactive games wall. S.J.Lawrence designed the new facility to include five “home areas” inside the building, with roughly 32 residents living in each section. Each area includes shared and private suites, as well as a spa room, a gathering space for activities, a computer lounge/library, a resident and family lounge, large dining rooms, and access to outdoor patios.
