Grizzly Ridge Developments is a general contracting firm based in Coaldale, Alberta, and specializing in renovations, additions, and new homes. Since forming over 12 years ago, their goal has always been to provide customers with affordable, high quality, and professional building services, and to provide them with excellence experiences along the way. They understand how stressful building a new home or renovating an existing one can be for owners, and they do everything they can to mitigate that stress and make the experience as enjoyable as possible. “Overseeing a development can take a real toll on somebody, especially if they don’t have the right general contracting team by their side,” says Dustin Hayes, the company’s founder and owner. “Our number one priority has always been customer service. Our mission is to deliver quality services at hard to beat competitive prices. We know how difficult taking on a project can be. That is why we strive to not only achieve our clients’ goals but to exceed their expectations as well.” Before becoming a general contractor, Dustin began his career as an electrician. After earning his journeyman ticket and then his masters, he decided to build a house for his family. That went well, so he figured he might starting doing one a year on the side to make some extra money – “and things spiralled from there,” he recalls. “I ended up having to drop down to three days a week as an electrician, then I went down to two days, and then I realized it was time,” he says. “I had to tell my old boss that it was time for me to move on and make building my full-time job.” That was about 10 years ago.
