According to TJ Snowdon, the company’s eponymous founder and director, that customer loyalty is a result of “being easy to deal with” and “producing top quality products.” In turn, he credits that congeniality and quality of work to the company’s long-standing team and their relationships with their dedicated and talented tradespeople. “We pride ourselves on professionalism and outstanding service and our past clients can attest to that,” TJ says. “Thanks to the relationships we build, we continue to be hard at work building and renovating throughout the Fraser Valley to Vancouver and across the Lower Mainland; making our client’s visions come true, and employing the best local tradespeople.” Prior to starting his own company, TJ was trained in carpentry through BCIT, and he spent years working for a local commercial and multiresidential framing company. When he was just 21 years old, his boss at that company offered him some subcontracting work, which led to him incorporating Snowdon Construction and hiring his first employees. For the first few years, TJ and his team focused on framing and forming, and their business grew quickly. At one point, they employed 50 carpenters inhouse. Eventually, the company naturally transitioned into doing construction management, which their experience as a sub-crew running large projects prepared them well for.
