is a junior estimator and the other works in administration and inside steel sales. “We sometimes have up to 10 people in the shop,” Joelene says. “I’ve been here 22 years, so I’ve seen lots come and go,” she adds. “The one thing that I would say is ‘If we like you, and you work well, we try to keep you on, so if we have a slow period, we hang on to you and don’t lay you off.’ We kind of work through and hope we get busy again.” Edward explains how the company has earned the loyalty of long-term and repeat customers. “The regular customers that we are dealing with now are the same customers who were here when the company started in 2001 as a structural and miscellaneous supplier. For me, that shows how we basically are meeting all their expectations, meeting all their goals, and being transparent with them. The thing we can assure our customers is that we will work with them. We will partner with them. And at the end of the job, we make sure that they’re happy, we’re happy, everybody’s happy.” Joelene says a reason that RNR has a loyal customer base is that “we give them loyalty in turn as well and we strive to do our jobs efficiently and at a fair price.” “We’ve had some customers who have tried another company because our price was just a little too high for them and they went to that company and had nothing but issues and so they actually came back for us to fix those issues.
