“Like a lot of companies, we’ve struggled to find the right people,” he says. “We’ve been looking very hard. It’s been a challenge. It takes time and it takes effort. But we’ve been investing that time and effort and we’ve managed to make it work.” Recently, Design Works has also invested a lot in the community, and Haydar says they are looking to invest more. “We’re starting to find ways to give back to society,” he says. “One of the biggest things we’re doing now is looking to support these new camps for children. We’re working with a camp right now, they’re building a facility and we’re providing all the engineering for them at no cost. We’re also looking to support ‘Engineers Without Borders,’ that’s something that’s very dear to me. We want to help people through engineering. We want to make an impact on society.” OCTOBER 2022
