The Construction Source

“We really try to offer the best value,” he adds. “We want our pricing to be lower than the next available option for a tenant.” That competitive pricing is a key factor in how Arsenault Properties limits their turnover and keeps their tenants happy. Another factor that powers that satisfaction is the quality of their units, which David similarly says is similarly superior to the next available option. He credits that quality, again, to their vertical integration – because they are able to so much in house with their own direct employees, they are able to tightly control the quality they produce. In addition, David credits the company’s quality to their experience. Again, he and his brother grew up around construction, and Arsenault Bros Construction has roots in the local industry going back over three decades. Many of the employees of that division are also longstanding. “Our quality comes back to our people,” David says. “We have a tonne of experience. We have a lot of people who have been with the company since the 90s. Some have been here since the 80s. We have hundreds of years of combined experience within the company.” Top to Floors Inc. also has a lot of longstanding people. That company was incorporated in 1999 and many of their employees have been there for over a decade. Then there is the group’s roster of subcontractors and suppliers – those relationships are also deeply embedded and go back many years. According to David, a lot of the partnerships they continue to this day were first established by his father. OCTOBER 2022
