According to Mike, the focus of that project is “wellness.” The building was inspired by the principles of the ‘WELL Building Standard’ – a performance-based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring features of the built environmentthat impacthuman health and wellbeing, through air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort, and mind. In accordance with those principles, Mike says that health and wellness was “integrated into every aspect of the design.” For example, every home at O2 incorporates an advanced water filtration system, an advanced air purification system, and every principal bathroom includes a steam shower. “O2 was designed intentionally to integrate wellness into our daily lives,” Mike says. “Our goal is to redefine what it means to ‘live well,’ while also setting a new standard for living within the city.” “I’m very excited to get started,” he adds. “That’s another project where we’ve teamed up with Graham. We’re looking forward to hopefully working with some of the same people we had at Paramount.” Moving forward, Keltic’s goal is to continue adding projects of that calibre and scope to their pipeline.
