Doing something cool Looking forward, Chad says that Canadian Door Doctor is looking at “a number of potential paths.” Within their current premises, he says that the company is “bursting at the seams,” so there is definitely room to grow and expand in terms of size if they choose – but that’s just one possibility. “We could maintain where we’re at, which would be fine, or we could get another building and bring on more employees,” he explains. “That’s what we’re considering now.” “What we definitely don’t want to do is hire five or six people for a couple months and then just lay them off, as that goes against everything we’ve ever done,” he adds. In terms of what they do, Chad says there probably isn’t room to expand – “becausewe already do pretty much every door you could imagine.” What Chad would love to do more of, though, is custom work.
