supporting the local community – “in all facets,” Edmund says, “from the companies we contract with to the charities we support.” On the charitable side, for example, they recently had a program supporting three local charities – including an organization called HALO, which provides air ambulance support for Medicine Hat and other communities in southern Alberta. As part of supporting the community, Coulee Ridge will also continue introducing natural amenities that can be enjoyed by anyone in the area, now and in the future. Their team is working with the city now to figure out exactly what those amenities should be, but Elise is sure “they will have the same level of quality and accessibility as what we’re building now.” “We’re just thefirstdevelopment in the area, and we feel that this project is going to kickstart a lot more,” Elise says. “The amenities we’re building now will help draw people to develop in this area, and they will also serve the people of those future developments.” “We’re setting the stage for the entire area,” Edmund adds. As for the future of Coulee Ridge, specifically – as was previously mentioned, the next phase of the development is under civil construction now and will include 68 lots. Those lots are available for purchase now, and they should be ready to build on by fall or winter of next year. Those lots come in variety of shapes and sizes – some are on the coulee, some are on the Junegrass pond, some are surrounded by green space. Lots in future phases will similarly vary. By the end of the project, Coulee Ridge will comprise 220 lots total. DECEMBER 2022
