Two of the company’s most experienced teammembers are their leaders – Mike Marshall, Partner & CEO, and Steve Stevenson, Partner & COO. Mike, for his part, has 20 years’ experience spanning all aspects of the timber industry, from automated and digital manufacturing, to sales, marketing and management. He has spent much of his career in the leadership of the design and construction of some of Canada’s most innovative timber structures. Steve, meanwhile, has 15 years of senior management experience within the construction industry. Over the course of his career in general contracting, he estimates he’s done “basically everything” – including custom homes, multiresidential developments, light industrial projects, commercial projects, and retail stores. In July, 2017, Mike and Steve officially teamed up and formed Kinsol Timber Systems following the dissolution of the company they both previously worked for.
