Growing rapidly Moving forward, Neil’s vision for Ascent Drywall & Coatings is to keep up the momentum they have built over the past year. He sees a lot of growth in Ascent’s future. Project-wise, the company would like to get into bigger commercial projects and towers. They would also like to do some industrial work and maybe some work for the Department of Defense – they are pursuing some of those opportunities now. The company is also looking to grow through acquisition. If they can find a “great company, with great people, who would be a good cultural fit,” they want to be aggressive in bringing them on board. “There are a lot of business owners aging out, and they are looking for ways to leave a legacy and to protect the succession of their company,” Neil explains. “We’re now building relationships with some of those people.
