Captivating and unique A recent example of Velocity Projects’ excellence in action is the custom home that Daniel mentioned they are building right now for a past client. Located on Blenkinsop in the District of Saanich, that home is locatedon a eight-acre property. It was designed by a “fairly wellknown architect in town,” Daniel says – though Velocity joined the process early on, and their in-house design team is taking care of all the interior selections and furnishings. The home has multiple owners, including a daughter and a father and mother (or parents). For the father, “This is his fourth or fifth high-end custom house, and this is the last house he wants to build,” Daniel says. “He wants this to be the rest-of-hislife house.” The daughter, meanwhile, has a family that will inhabit one half of the house. She wanted a space that her whole family could enjoy while still being close to her parents. MARCH 2022
