The Construction Source

JANUARY 2021 When Grande Built Homes first started, the company was capable of only doing between two-to-six homes per year. They now domore than 24 homes per year. They also dabble in other sectors – they are currently doing a tenant improvement project, for example, on behalf of a client they had previously built a home for. Moving forward, they want to keep building spec homes, but they also want to keep that diversification going. They also want to be adaptable, and be ready to pursue new opportunities in new sectors and price brackets when they arise. “We like to stretch our wings,” Jordan says. “We like new things, we like challenges, we like learning. We want to keep growing and changing.” “Andgrowingdoesn’tnecessarily mean doing more and more projects,” he adds. “It means becoming more efficient. It means giving more back to the community. It means embracing new products and technologies when they become available.” “I don’t know exactly what the company’s going to look like in five years,” he concludes, “but whatever comes I plan on bringing our trades along, I plan on maintaining our high standards, and I plan on offering the same personal service. As long as we can bring all that to our new ventures, I’ll be happy.” New challenges
