“Quality is something we’ve nev- er lost, and never will lose,” says Lisa Lobello, Director. “We deliv- er it every time, no matter who the client is or what the job is. That’s always been important to us. That’s what the company was founded on.” The company’s founder was Nick Lobello, Lisa’s father. Nick passed away in October 2019, but his lifelong passion for woodworking – and his uncom- promising commitment to qual- ity and customer satisfaction – still powers the business today. According to Lisa, he was and is the reason for the company’s sustained success. Nick was born in Albi, a small town in Italy, where he started cabinetmaking at only six years old. By the time he came to Can- ada, he was already a talented craftsman with many years’ ex- perience and extremely high quality standards. Armed with that skill and dedication, he founded found Nick’s Wood- craft in 1968, originally from the garage of his home in Green- view. From there, his ambitions grew, and so did his operation. He worked his way up to renting a location nearby, then to build- ing his own workshop in 1980. Since then, the business has continued to consistently grow in size and prestige, and their facility has grown along with it.
